Please note that campaign contributions have the following restrictions, by law:

​

• Must be made by individuals, using personal funds

• Must be made by US citizens or permanent US residents

• Must be made by persons 18 years or older

• Are limited to $360 per person maximum in the primary and $360 in the general election for no more than $720 cumulative donation per individual

• Physical Address, Employer, and Occupation for each donor must be reported to the city of Chula Vista and state of California by the campaign

• All cumulative donations totaling $100 or will be available to general public inquiries on the city of Chula Vista's campaign reporting database  

• Political donations are not tax deductible

• The City of Chula Vista Municipal Code limits contributions to campaigns for City elective office to three hundred sixty dollars per person.
